Oh What do you do in the winter time, when all you see is white...

You take advantage of it. This year I have been really anti-snow. I swear we've already had record breaking snow falls and it's only been really snowing for a month. Usually I warm up to it, but not this year for some reason. So when we got back from Cali and it was freezing and all you could see was white, the kids wanted nothing but go sledding, and I just wanted to go back to Cali!!
But they finally got us talked in to doing it. It was just going to be Mike and Lorin and Christian But Kaki and I decided we would go and watch and take pictures. Our kids definitely take after Mike when it comes to the snow. Even Christian, he just loves it. They loved riding down the hill as fast as they could, with the snow spraying in their faces and them just barely missing other little eager kids flying down the hill. Lorin didn't even wait for us all to get out of the car when we got to our favorite hill. She hoped out opened the back grabbed her sled and was gone!! She would fly down and then climb back up the hill all by herself. Then fly down again and climb back up again. She was so funny, she would get mad when she had to slow down so that she wouldn't hit the people standing on the middle of the hill.
Christian also just loved going down and then up, down and then up. I thought he would for sure get tired of having to climb back up, but he would just climb up after daddy over and over again. Mike even took Kaki down once and she loved it. They went down the double hill too.








After a little bit Kaki and I were both really cold so we went and sat in the car with the heater on. And watched Mike and Lorin and Christian. That was really fun too. There's something really comical about Christian flying down on a sled with Lorin and them both wiping out at the bottom. Or Lorin racing Mike and Christian down the hill and Lorin totally winning because she's on the sled and Mike and Christian are on the tube which doesn't go as fast and as far.


So as much as I still really would like the snow to end, it's really fun to go out and play in it with the family. Christian asks everyday "whats tomowow? Can we go sledding tomowow?"
