BUSY BUSY Weekend

This weekend, and actually last week just seemed like it was non stop busy. It started with Lorin's Halloween party and it's really not over yet.
On Thursday Mikes brother, Jon, drove in to town for a couple of days. Him and his wife just moved to Colorado, so they are only about 7 hours away. So Mike took him to mutual with him and because it was UEA weekend the young men had a game it up party. They split up between our house and one of the YM counselors house and played till after 11pm. Me, I just crashed, Lorins party really worked me. Then Friday night we went over to one of our friends house for an adult Halloween party. It was so much fun. We just pulled stuff from our closet and then went to the costume store for assesories. We even won a price, Best Group. I think Mike threatened them all with his "Tommy" if they didn't vote for us. Mike pulls this off so much better than me because he is brown. :( His cigar even lights up.

Jon was such a great sport and dressed up too. He wore one of Mike's old costumes and took his rock band guitar.



Then on Saturday morning Mike's dad flew in from Cali for a visit too. So we all headed to watch Lorin play her last soccer game. Her team lost :( but they did really good. Lorin played goalie for a little while and she saved the ball a couple of times.



After her game we went to a park and did some family pictures. Mike's dad wanted to get some pictures with his boys so I played photographer for a little bit. It was a lot of fun and the pictures turned out real cute.







Then after family pictures the kids, and Mike played at the park.




That night after we put the kids to bed we finished the night off with the good ole fashion Rock Band, our band 2 Bros.




And then we celebrated my Kathryn's 1st birthday sunday night. I can't believe she's one. She has changed so much in just the past couple of months and her facial expression just make us laugh so hard. If you point at her she'll point back. And she says momma and dadda and uh-oh. And she'll wave bye bye. Or she can shake her head no. She's gotten good at swating at Christian if he gets to close to her. She has this new laugh, where she scrunches up her face and shows you all 6 of her teeth. Her tantrums are getting better and they definetely are efficient, once she starts crying Lorin will make sure she gets whatever she wants. Yesterday she was sitting on my lap and I was calling for Christian and she was mimiking the sound. It almost sounded like she was saying Christian. She loves Lorin, loves to play with her follow her, get in her toys and pull her hair. And she is still pretty weary of Christian. He still plays to rough for her.
