Our Graduating-Graduate

On Friday night the BYU Graduate Student Society threw a BBQ for all graduating graduates. Mike, being one of those, we thought: free food, games for the kids, and some cool music, why not? So we took the drive down to Provo. Mike was interested to know what $3000.00 a semester pays for, well it pays for sloppy Joe's, corn, potato salad and a cookie. But to their credit the sloppy Joe mix was soooo good. It makes my mouth water to think about it. And the potato salad was the real stuff, not walmart foux potato salad.

I don't remember if this was Lorin being a dog or a horse. It use to always be a horse, but since we've had Odie around she's been barking a lot lately.

We didn't take a ball, so Christian improvised and took his shoes off and threw them and then went a got them and then would throw them again and then go and get them. I really think Odie is doing strange things to my kids.

When Christian wasn't playing catch with his shoes, he was trying to roll up-hill. Somebody needs to tell him the hill goes the other way!!

We don't really worry about Lorin, she seems to make friends where ever we go. We just have to watch her and make sure they're not scary friends.(she doesn't know the difference yet, we are working on it tho)

The entertainment was really good. I'll have to ask Mike what their name was again. They were raffling off some of their cd's, and dang it we didn't get one. I'll have to see if they have anything on you tube. It ended up being a really fun night. BYU sure knows how to throw a party for those graduating graduates.

I love the effect Odie is having on your kids. If they can't have a dog, then they'll just be the dog. Don't worry I've heard therapy helps if they're still doing it when they're adults.

Jill, So sorry we couldn't make it! It ended up being a long night. Sounds like you guys had fun as it was, though. I love the picture of Christian trying to roll up hill! What a cutie!

Looks like a fun time. Are you Y fans? Free food, you can't beat that right?
