A Knights Pary

This weekend we celebrated Christian's 3rd bday. Lorin has had a party just about every year and I've put off having one for Christian, so this year we decided to have his first friend birthday party. It was A Knights Party. So we invited a couple of his little guy friends to come over to our Knighting ceremony.

First we had the jousting competition. The little guys jousted up and down as hard as they could and for as long as they could in the bounce houses at Jumpin Jacks. Now I know what your saying "6 little boys at the bounce house, madness" but it was sooo much fun!! They had so much fun. Their little faces show it too.

They ran through race tracks.
Then ran down slides(this was Ashton's favorite, if we needed to find him this is where he was.)

Then slid down the slides backwards.

Then took a break on the back of a ferocious dragon.

Then with some help went up a huge hill, count them with me,
one....
two.....
three knights in training. Mike sure got his work out.
Kaki even joined in the fun.

Then the dragon awoke and started taking the boys out one by one.
With Mikes help of course.
The boys trying to retaliate against the dragon and Mike.
Still trying, calling in more reinforcements, big sis.

Finally succeeding.

Then back to our house to slay the dragon of a cake. Christian had so much help blowing out the candle I don't even know who it was that blew it out.

Then the Right of Passage, where those who came as noblemen left as Knights. Thank goodness grandpa was here this weekend, because 6 boys sure can be a handful.

What a cute party! Ashton loved it! He's seen Brayden go and come home from parties so much and was so excited to get to go himself this time!
