Christians birthday party was just the start of our weekend. Easter and birthday parties on the same weekend makes for one busy weekend. So afterthe birthday party and naps we decorated Easter eggs. We managed to get almost all of them done before the yellow coloring got spilled all over the counter and then while I was cleaning that up the pink coloring got knocked on the floor. So that ended our coloring. I didn't want to see if the blue would tint our floor a bluish shade.

Then for dinner Christian got to pick where we went to eat and of course it was The Mayan. This is a bad picture you cant see the jumpers in the background jumping off the rocks, but they were there. Christian loves to see them jump and Lorin loves to say out loud when they walk by our table, "mom that man is half naked".

In our family the tradition is you wake up you can go through your basket and then when everyone wakes up the egg hunt is on. And usually because it's 7 in the morning and April isn't the warmest month for 7 in the morning egg hunts, it happens inside.

Good thing our ward isn't until 1, so we had time to enjoy our baskets, eat a hearty egg breakfast and get all dolled up in our new Easter clothes.

So we had a long weekend, but well worth it. Mike's dad was in town for the Holliday and for Christians birthday and they really enjoyed having him here and I think he really enjoyed being able to experience the Holliday again as a kid. Luckily we have a good long break till Oct for Kathryn's birthday because man I'm partied out.
