My sweet little Kathryn Madeline turned 2 the day I got back from visiting Mike. I had a party planned for the next weekend with family but of course grandma had to have a party for her to spoil the heck out of her while I was gone. My mom has an exchange student staying with her from Japan and she loves Kaki. And Kaki loves her. So Takano(the exchange student) and my mom threw a little party for Kathryn.
Saturday Mike's dad flew down for the family party. We did lunch and had cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to my little sweat pea. Some time between her birthday party, almost 2 months ago, and now she's has gone from being my sweat pea to my sassy quack though.
Even though Mike is on the other side of the continent he was able to sing Happy Birthday with us through the comfort of webchat!
