We can feel the love now
Have you ever had that feeling that your neighbors don't really like you. Well we don't get that feeling exactly but this past weekend we finished the flower beds in the front yard and man do we feel loved!! We didn't think it was a big deal that there were no flowers or bushes. I mean we kept it weeded. But my mother in law came out to visit us with one goal in mind, flower our yard. So we did, we spent 2 1/2 days putting down top soil, planting flowers and bushes. And our neighbors started coming over to our house and saying how great it looks. Sorry it took us so long, we do feel the love now. If only we would have done it two months ago we wouldn't have driven our next door neighbors to move to the other side of the globe. :(

I have been waiting for the right moment to invite into my circle of Friends...But, never thought I could do it since you didn't have any Flowers.
You have been at the edge of friendship so many times with me...But, the flower thing was always holding me back...

I have to say-I have done a lot of yard work before, but for some reason this little landscaping project was the most difficult/painful for me. I've got blisters on top of blisters, sore muscles in places I didn't know even existed, and about 10 spider bites (well, 5 actually). But it feels like 10-I'm itching all over. I also feel more a part of my "hood"!. (Probably why we didn't get uninvited from the Memorial Day BBQ):)
I guess we all have our issues, but we are glad there is something in your yard now j/k. That's what must have done it to us when we finally did our yard. Now i'm finally catching on!! Your yard does look good though, and i'm glad you can finally be joce's friend.
