It really is funny that Mike's squad has a family outing twice a year. Why is it funny? Well out of the 15 on his squad, 4 are married, 3 have kids, 1 has more then one kid and 1 has kids older then 2. Yup that's right. Mike is one of the youngest on his squad yet he's been married the longest and has the most kids. So why the FAMILY outing? No idea, but it's a great excuse for him to have a paid day with the family at an awesome park!!
We went to the Potomic Falls National Park. About an hour from DC. It was a beautiful day.
We played some baseball. Christian has gotten into outdoor sports more. His #1 is still his nerf guns, but he loves to throw the football around and swing away at the baseball.
Lorin played with the bigger guys. They did a great job keeping her entertained with no other kids close to her age.
Christian played croquet with one of the girls on Mike's squad. It really was great, like 8 adult babysitters keeping our kids entertained. :)
Mike did his part, entertaining with his juggling skills.
The outing was catered, no clean up and no cooking! The best. Mike works with some great people. And he really enjoys what he does.
